The "Centre de Recherches sur l'Histoire des Familles" in Guebwiller provides the public with a large amount of historical, thematic and genealogical documentation.
It can carry out any genealogical research in the civil registers prior to 1892 and the parish registers of the Ancien Régime for the current department of Haut-Rhin.
It has a vast genealogical library dealing with the families of France and holds a large collection of archives concerning the whole of the territory of France.
